Typically, we adhere to a coach-to-child ratio of approximately 1 coach for every 10-12 children. Our classes are thoughtfully organized into two groups: one for youngsters aged 7 to 9 years and another for those aged 10 to 12 years. In order to ensure a safe and effective learning environment, each class is designed with a maximum capacity of up to 30 children. This approach allows us to maintain an optimal balance between personalized attention and the collective experience, promoting skill development and fostering camaraderie among participants.
We kindly request that parents arrive 10 minutes prior to the conclusion of each football session. If you anticipate being delayed when picking up your child, please feel free to contact our admin team who will promptly inform the coach. If you would like to request a late pick up for your child we are happy to add this service to your payment plan so we can compensate our coaches for their extra time and dedication.
At Koora Academy we believe in active and fun learning, rain or shine! Please ensure your child is dressed appropriately for the weather. We train in all conditions except for heavy snow. It's essential that your child comes prepared with suitable clothing, such as rain gear on wet days, to ensure a comfortable and enjoyable experience while staying active and engaged.
Parents or guardians should notify the academy in advance if a child will be absent from a session.
Refunds or makeup sessions will not be provided for individual session cancellations by participants unless there are exceptional circumstances (e.g., illness or injury).
For extended absences due to medical reasons, a pro-rata refund or credit may be considered upon request, with appropriate documentation. Documentation we may ask to see include:
· A stamped appointment card from the GP Clinic, surgery, dentist or hospital
· A doctor's note
· A copy of any medicine prescribed by the doctor
· A copy of the prescription

We make booking classes easy so you only have to worry about booking your child into the correct bracket, while our coaches will determine which age group to place your child into.
Our classes are designed for children from 7 to 12 years old, which are then further divided into (7-9s) and (10-12s). If your child turns 7 before the school term begins then the’re coach will put them in the U8’s age group. However if they turn 7 after the school term begins then they will play in the Under 7s age group
Regrettably, we cannot accommodate same-day bookings since our classes and equipment are meticulously prepared in advance to match the pre-booked number of children. Additionally, we maintain comprehensive health and safety records for all participating children.
All parents are encouraged to plan ahead and make bookings at least 24 hours in advance to ensure a smooth experience for all involved.
For your convenience, classes can be booked until 10pm the night before the class takes place. Our customer service team is available to assist you with queries and bookings via email or telephone.

We employ our coaches on a sessional basis, so while we endeavour to always have familiar faces delivering our sessions, sometimes this is out of our control and subject to the availability of our coaches as well as our mission to ensure high standards of coaching and conduct are kept at all times. Our lead coaches will remain relatively consistent throughout the school term and will provide parents and coaches with a familiar face on site.
